If you work from home, you’ve probably struggled staying productive while dodging all the distractions in your house. Trust me, there’s nothing wrong with you; it’s probably just that you need to switch up your environment. Once I started working at Innovation, I was amazed by how much more I could complete in a day… it felt like I doubled my output. Here’s why. There’s so much to love about this place, but my favorite is the design of the building. It’s a brand new facility with hip, modern furniture and bright colors. Every day when you walk in, you really do feel inspired to work and be creative. The kitchen always has fresh coffee, snacks, and of course a fridge and microwaves if you bring your own lunch. Common areas, conference rooms, phone booths, and restrooms are impeccably clean. When you need some fresh air, you can walk the Brushy Creek nature trail (located behind the building). To top it all off, working from home gets lonely some days. The staff and members of Innovation really do feel like a little community. I’ve met some great people who I look forward to seeing each day. I like that they offer day passes. I started with a day pass, but was so hooked that I ended up renting a designated desk.
